The UVSL coater is based off the original UVAL design but in a smaller footprint. It has all the features that you have come to expect from FMA. With the UVSL, customers will have the confidence to coat their jobs with the same quality in a smaller space. The UVSL will handle multiple shifts of production or your occasional coating jobs.
Doctor Blade System
Rigid doctor blade system applies even pressure across entire roll to eliminate hazing and streaks that other wiping squeegees leave behind.
Safety Features
Sheet detectors prevent fires before they start. The system shuts down the UV lamp to actively prevent fires before they have a chance to get started- unlike other systems which only detect a fire once it has started.
Nylon End Dams
FMA uses nylon composite material for greater stability and wear strength - unlike common felt (used by other companies) which degrades and can contaminate the coating.
Main Drive
AC Inverter drive system with electronic overload protection and spring tensioning for smooth operation in forward and reverse.
Easy Access
Closed-loop recirculating UV dispensing system is easy-access for cleaning and re-supply. Cabinet design accepts coating manufacturer's standard 5 gallon pail.
